The community of Las Terrazas has a rich culture where great musicians such as Fito Paez, Joaquin Sabina, Ana Belen, Victor Manuel y Steve Turre , film makers and great actors such as Julio Medem, Cecilia Roth and Jorge Perugorria, writers like Garcia Marquez (Nobel Prize) and ballerines like the Spanish Antonio Gadez all take refuge.

The Studio Duporte is also located in the community. It is a residence and a studio for the coveted painter of nature. It is located at the top of the Cañada de las Mariposas. Another painter that chose Las Terrazas to live and to establish his studio is the distinguished and appreciated Lester Campa whom can be visited at Lester's Studio.

Among numerous treasures of Las Terrazas, a Serigraphic workshop and a studio where Silvio Freddy Gonzales and other major Cuban or foreign serigraphists work.

It is also in Las Terrazas where lived, until his tragic death, the world known singer Polo Montanez, winner of various Golden and Platinum awards. His music reflects the authenticity of the Sierra del Rosario. His records were sold throughout the world. Polo Montanez and his song "El Guajiro natural", also know as such, was, in one occasion, nominated at the Grammys Awards.
