The city is bathed bay the Tradewinds coming from the north. Its annual average temperature is 26 ºC, but there are eight rivers of deep and crystalline waters to face the hot of the territory. Among them, the Toa is the one with the greatest volume of water with 120 kilometers of extension. There are mountainous areas where the biggest plantations of coffee of the country. In those zones there are micro-climates with a high annual average of rains.
